Summer Marketing Strategies

July 14th, 2010

Are you caught up in the summer slump myth? Everybody is NOT gone. Just look around…

In fact, summer provides you with a great opportunity to get caught up on some marketing activities that you may otherwise be too busy for. Not only that, but with a lot of others believing that same old myth, you’ll be able to race right past your competitors and find yourself with extra revenue and customers/clients come Labor Day.

So which summer marketing strategies should you pick? There are lots of possibilities…

Networking and other “offline” strategies

First, there are special summer versions for networking and other “offline” strategies, which you can learn more by clicking here: Summer Marketing Secrets.

This is a teleseminar by business success coach Sue Clement, and it will take place this coming Thursday at 3 pm EST.

And yes, sign up wihether or not you’ll be able to make it — the audio will be available after the call. In fact, even if you miss the teleseminar altogether, the audio will be available through the link above.

Online marketing strategies

I have just launched a new teleseminar series myself, It’s called “Web Stuff Tonight,” and the next few installments will be of special interest to business owners.

I’ll be talking about several online marketing strategies that allow you to make ideal use of the “summer slump” — starting with the instant expert article marketing method, and then moving on to social media marketing in upcoming seminars.

You can sign up for the next one (they’re usually on Thursday night at 9 p.m EST), and after that you’ll be notified automatically about any future events (no need to keep signing up for those, but you can unsubscribe at any time, of course).

Here’s where you can sign up:

And remember, you’ll get access to the audio of the event afterwards.

So why not say goodbye to the summer slump and zoom right past your competitors instead.

See you at Web Stuff Tonight!

P.S.: Here’s the press release about my new teleseminar series and its relevance to summer marketing:

Is your Marketing Money Bringing you Business?

July 14th, 2009

What’s the Return of your Investment (ROI) for your marketing or advertising dollars? Do you even know?

That might seem like a silly question to some of you, but at Richmond Web Marketing, we’ve discovered that a whole lot of people have absolutely NO idea how well it’s working. That’s because they don’t track which advertising brings in which business — if any.

So what can you do about that? Start tracking.

Don’t just advertise because that’s what you’re supposed to do. Advertise with a goal in mind. And make that goal measurable.

There are a number of ways you can do that. You can ask anyone who shows up how they found you. That’s actually not a bad way to do it. You can also include coupons or coupon codes in your assorted advertising material and use that to track what seems to bring in customers.

And, of course, you then have to tally up the results vs. what it cost you to make them happen. You may find the results too depressing. Or maybe not. Maybe you’re lucky enough to have found advertising methods that really work for your customer base. Good for you.

If the results do leave you depressed, though, consider making some changes. Chances are that you’re leaving lots of money on the table — even IF your advertising is working. At Richmond Web Marketing, we see that all the time.

Find out more about what online advertising can do for you — for a fraction of what offline advertising probably costs you right now, and with much more dramatic (and trackable!) results.

If you’d like to know more, I’d be happy to go over what you’re currently doing and give you some ideas of what you can do to get a whole lot more ROI or mileage out of your advertising dollars.

Just sign up on the form at the top right (which will give you a FREE report, and some free marketing tips) and send an email to the return address.

Or call me at 804-285-2535 at Richmond Web Marketing and leave your phone number (slowly AND clearly, preferably twice) and some good times when I can reach you, and I’ll call you back.
